What to check before paying

International shuttles use their own pickup arrangements, so do not assume the route leaves from the ADO/OCC terminal.
Why the trip takes most of a day
Arrival time can move because of:
- passenger pickups;
- traffic;
- immigration and customs processing;
- the vehicle change at the border;
- traffic after entering Guatemala City.
Do not plan a tight airport connection around the advertised 13–14.5 hours.

Confirm the exact Guatemala City drop-off point before booking, especially if you need to continue to the airport or another terminal. It may not be the point you would choose for a local bus connection.
