How to Get from San Cristóbal de las Casas to Tuxtla Gutiérrez

For Tuxtla Gutiérrez city, check ADO’s San Cristóbal-to-Tuxtla route search for your travel date. Do not use the city route as an airport transfer: TGZ is a separate destination. Availability, operator brand, boarding point, travel time and fare must be confirmed in the trip shown for your date.

Quick answer

Start with the date-specific ADO route search. Use the terminal and boarding point on the selected ticket; do not rely on an older schedule, a generic stop label or the name of a ticket office.

ADO’s ticket-search guidance says available trips depend on the origin, destination and selected date, and results can be filtered by time, price range, brand and terminals. A public route page alone does not establish a fixed schedule or fare.

City arrival or airport transfer?

The Tuxtla city terminal and Ángel Albino Corzo International Airport (TGZ) are not the same place. If your destination is the airport, use San Cristóbal to Tuxtla Airport (TGZ) and verify that exact destination on your ticket.

For local San Cristóbal terminal labels and other operators, see San Cristóbal Bus Stations & Terminals. For Tuxtla terminal information, see ADO’s Tuxtla terminal page.
