Choose a family hotel by the room you can actually book, then check stairs, location, breakfast, parking and the current child policy. “Family-friendly” does not tell you whether a room fits your group or whether the property works with a stroller, car or early breakfast.
Casa Santa Lucía and Diego de Mazariegos publish the clearest larger-room configurations in this selection. Hotel Bo, Casa del Alma and Parador Margarita are central options, but their exact room category and facilities still need confirmation for your dates.
Quick answer
- Need published capacity for four or five people: start with Casa Santa Lucía’s Junior and Master suites.
- Need a larger listed room configuration: Hotel Diego de Mazariegos publishes a Family Master Suite with two double beds and one king bed.
- Want a central boutique base: compare Hotel Bo in Barrio de Mexicanos, Casa del Alma’s suites and Parador Margarita in Santa Lucía.
- Before paying: confirm maximum occupancy of the exact room, extra beds or cribs, stairs or elevator access, breakfast, parking and the current child and cancellation policy.
Casa Santa Lucía: useful when room capacity matters
Casa Santa Lucía publishes unusually clear room-capacity information. Its Magdalenas Junior Suite can sleep up to 4 people, while the Master Suite can sleep up to 5. The hotel also currently lists breakfast, private parking and 24-hour reception.
Its published room capacities make the choice easier to verify before booking.
Hotel Diego de Mazariegos: larger family-room configuration
Hotel Diego de Mazariegos currently lists a Family Master Suite with two double beds and one king bed, plus a living area. Its official site also lists private parking and a central historic-center location.
If you are traveling with several people, verify that the exact room category is available for your dates rather than assuming every room has the same capacity.
Hotel Bo: central boutique option
Hotel Bo is in Barrio de Mexicanos, within walking distance of Santo Domingo and the historic center. Current family-hotel search results include the property, but check the actual room configuration you are booking rather than relying on the category label alone.
