What to expect
The tour leaves San Cristóbal de las Casas at 9:00 a.m. and returns at approximately 6:00 p.m. It visits three Sumidero Canyon viewpoints before continuing to the Chicoasén dam area for an approximately two-hour boat ride. Natural rock formations, birds and crocodiles may be seen along the route.
The day finishes in Chiapa de Corzo with free time to walk around town and take photos.
